At Ruthin School Wednesday afternoons are assigned to activities. Each student is given a variety of activities to choose from to enjoy for the three sessions. Some choose water sports, horse riding, climbing, art or a sport.
This week while the senior students had tests, our sixty Forms 1, 2 and 3 students enjoyed an ice skating trip. They travelled using five of our minibuses to Deeside Ice Rink. All of the students took to the ice along with five teachers. Despite the fact that some had never skated before, they all ventured onto the ice and had a great time. Mr Wadon, the activity organiser, had to admit that he was an excellent skater as he had been to ice skating lessons some years ago!
