Raising money for house charities

Although the pandemic may have presented many restrictions, Ruthin School has continued its efforts to raise funds for its nominated house charities, again with great success. Austen raised £347 for Hope House, whilst Brunel was able to donate £285 to Cancer Research UK. Macmillan Cancer Support was delighted to receive £343 from Churchill and Elgar raised over £550 for local charity, St. Kentigern. Newton House have the global charity UNICEF for their fund-raising efforts and managed to donate £470 to them. In total, this is a fantastic sum for the Ruthin School community to have raised for charities with such good causes under such unusual circumstances.
