Olympic Torch passes through North Wales

Form’s 1-3 plus Gerry Gan experienced a once in a life time experience when they visited Kinmel Bay to see the Olympic Torch pass. The group gathered in anticipation along the High street and it was not long before the convoy of official vehicles including many police bikes, buses and official sponsor trucks came into sight. The crowds began to cheer as the Olympic Torch bearer came closer and he soon passed by and disappeared into the distance. The Gold Torch shone brightly and it was fantastic to see it for real. All the pupils celebrated with an ice cream before departing back to school.
