‘Lessons from Auschwitz’ – an online learning project
Four Lower Sixth Students will take part in a moving remote learning project this summer. ‘Lessons from Auschwitz Online’ will offer students the unique opportunity to learn about the history of the Holocaust through a bespoke learning environment, accessing artefacts, text, film, and virtual explorations of Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. Students will consider the individuals whose lives were affected by the Holocaust and the relevance of the Holocaust today by. They will take part in live sessions, hear directly from Holocaust survivors and participate in a virtual exploration of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum.
The students – Wuraola, James, Ela and Lin – will then share what they have learnt within school as part of an assembly.
