Buoyed after a comfortable win against Shrewsbury, Ruthin entered the game against Concord full of confidence, despite being away from home. The game began with Ruthin in full control, creating all the chances, preventing Concord from getting into the game. The persistent pressure paid off with a goal; Tom slotting home an excellent finish. However, Ruthin grew a little complacent after taking the lead and Concord attempted to capitalise, held back by some excellent challenges from Nathan with the air controlled by Arun's headers. Ruthin went into the break a goal up.
A team talk telling the team to buck up slotted Ruthin back into their groove. Despite Concord remaining dangerous, Ruthin remained composed, George and John dominating the midfield as Iestyn and Tom supported the attack on the flanks. Substitutes Charlton and Chris came on and did well on the wings, ensuring Ruthin were ever-dangerous. Despite some dubious calls from the referee, and a couple of shaky moments, Ruthin held on well for the win. Full time: 1-0 Man of the match was Finlay, for 2 great saves that won us the match. A great way to end 2015 for the entire team.
