Careers in Medicine – Ruthin School alumnus, Professor Taj Nathan
On Wednesday 24th March, former pupil Professor Taj Nathan gave a presentation to students in Form 5 and the Lower Sixth about careers in medicine. Charting his own education and career – from starting in Ruthin’s Junior School in the 70s up to his many current roles (clinical, academic and legal) in the sphere of forensic psychiatry – he enlightened our students as to making the best application to medical schools and looking beyond into the myriad of careers available to a qualified doctor. COVID restrictions necessitated a presentation via TEAMS but we look forward to being able to welcome Professor Nathan back to Ruthin School for a nostalgic visit in person.
