A Level Results 2012
This year’s results are the best ever – with students continuing the recent trend of achieving fantastic A Level results.
87% of all grades achieved were A*, A or B (last year 83%)
68% of all grades awarded were A* or A (just over 34% were at A*). The national average for %A* is 8% – so Ruthin School is much much better than the national average.
The average UCAS points per candidate was 484 which is a superb achievement – and is equivalent to either A* A* A* or A A A A for an average student.
Over half our candidates achieved A* A A or better.
