Level 2 Teaching Assistant
The School is seeking a Teaching Assistant to provide support for a pupil with a visual impairment. This will include supporting teachers to deliver appropriate materials and the successful applicant will also have a role in preparing these materials and working 1:1 with the pupil. The support will be in class, as well as supporting mobility around the school outside of lesson time. Previous experience of working with pupils with a visual impairment is desirable though not essential.
The School is committed to the protection and safety of its pupils and therefore the role will be offered to the successful applicant subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check at the Enhanced Level.
Time: 30 hours per week
