Message from the Head
"We are committed to providing an education of the highest quality."
Ruthin Senior School is committed to providing an education of the highest quality, endeavouring to develop the potential of all pupils in all spheres of education. The pupils develop self-confidence through recognising and building upon their strengths as well as identifying and striving to correct their weaknesses. They are thus prepared to face the challenges of the changing world beyond school.
The Senior School offers day places and weekly and full boarding places to boys and girls from the age of 13 to 18. We aim to preserve the best traditions and exercise particular concern for the individual care of boys and girls. Good manners, personal discipline and respect for others are of supreme importance, as is a thorough grounding in central subjects of the curriculum. We believe that social responsibility can best be developed in a small community with a family atmosphere.
Overriding everything is our belief that focusing on the individual leads to pupils achieving higher performances.
