Half Term Holiday update

Our students at Ruthin School had a busy half term holiday with several different activities on offer to them.

Photographed are the group of older students who went paintballing at Bodelwyddan and had a fun time despite poor weather. The younger boarders spent the afternoon on the coast in Rhyl visiting the Sea Life Centre.

Eighty-eight students enjoyed the spooky Halloween events at Alton Towers. The older students enjoyed a trip to Manchester City Centre and China Town. While the younger Forms 1 – 3 boarding students enjoyed a lunch out at Chester, as well as spending time producing fantastic volcanos for their Geography homework.

Nineteen students of all ages enjoyed watching films at the Broughton cinema. And the more energetic students attended a fast paced football training session.

Other trips enjoyed this term have been Inflatanation, Trampolining, Archery, ice skating, skiing, Laserquest, ten-pin bowling, as well as trips out to Manchester, Liverpool, Trafford Centre and Cheshire Oaks for the older students.
