Annual Swimming Gala
Ruthin School’s annual swimming gala took place at Connah’s Quay swimming arena. There were 75 swimmers taking part and over 100 spectators, which was the largest amount since we started the gala. The event was keenly contested and we witnessed some excellent swimmers including Carmen, Owen, Ellie, Emy and Katy. There were also swimmers who took part to help their house including Edmond who was only taught to swim very recently. It was a tight contest with Brunel winning by two points from Newton.
A special mention must go to Carmen Lim who will be representing Malaysia in the para-commonwealth games in Australia in April.
