Inter-House competitions provide pupils with a range of activities.
Pupils are assigned to one of 5 Houses (Austen, Brunel, Churchill, Elgar and Newton). They enjoy the House identity and each House competes through a range of activities.
The competitions range from music & drama (Performing Arts competitions, House Song, House Play etc) to sporting activities (Sports Day, Swimming Gala, Sailing, Golf, Athletics, Tennis as well as the usual team sports of Football, Rugby, Cricket, Netball, Rounders and Lacrosse.)
Each House has a number of prefects and Head of House. Staff are also assigned to Houses to help the pupils prepare for the various activities throughout the year. Academic prizes are also awarded to the House with the best attendance record and academic performance.
