Drama
Drama brings members of the Preparatory School together with plays, dramas and musicals every year.
Drama involves many members of the community on both sides of the curtain. Valuable skills are developed and in recent years the School has enjoyed productions of 'Macbeth', 'The Crucible', 'Oliver', 'Rats', 'Murder in the Cathedral','Kes', 'Viva Mexico', 'Grease', 'West Side Story', 'Cabaret' and 'Little Shop of Horrors'. On many occasions the music department works closely with the drama department. Members of staff are involved in all aspects of the performances and the co-operation between staff and pupils is a strength of the School.
Music and drama come together in the Performing Arts Festival, involving members of each of the four houses. This results in an afternoon of prose, poetry, plays, musical ensembles, solos and house choirs.
