Years 6 - 8
In the final three years of the Preparatory School the pupils are given more formal assessment and testing to prepare them for Senior Schools.
More time is given to the separate science subjects and both Mandarin and Spanish are added to the broad curriculum. Latin is taught as part of the enrichment programme.
Small focused groups are created to give particularly bright pupils extra acdaemic lessons so that they can obtain scholarships. Those children that find academic work difficult, or have particular special educational needs, are also identified and given additional help and support.
