Message from the Head

“We offer a stimulating environment and a sound foundation to learning, resulting in significant progress and development.”

Children aged 3 to 7 years are welcomed into our warm and friendly School, where they are valued and encouraged to become independent learners. The children in our care are gradually introduced to a range of experiences designed to promote self-confidence and competence in learning through a carefully planned curriculum, which links with that of the Preparatory School.

Traditional values, well resourced classrooms, small classes and qualified, caring and experienced staff combine to ensure children have every opportunity to achieve their full potential. Experiences appropriate to the age of the child are offered from guided opportunities designed to encourage self-discovery to individual, group work and formal class teaching.

Daily individual and group work ensures a firm foundation in the basic skills of reading, writing and numeracy. This is supplemented with a range of opportunities including swimming, ballet, music tuition, and involvement in various activities such as assemblies and plays. A strong focus on education beyond the classroom is provided with trips and visits to local places of interest.
