Pupils attend Oxbridge Conference

On Monday 26th March, Miss Brodwinska and Dr Green accompanied twelve lower sixth students to the annual Oxbridge conference held at Haydock Park racecourse. The aim of the conference is to provide current information regarding the application and admissions process at both Oxford and Cambridge University. Moreover, the conference also gave our sixth-formers an insight into student life, both academic and extra-curricular.  Academic staff, admissions tutors and current undergraduates from both institutions were on hand to answer any questions our sixth formers had.  Ruthin School has enjoyed recent success regarding the Oxbridge admissions process with nine of our students having received offers over the past two years.
