Form 5 Coastal Field Trip
At the begining of March, Form 5 had a Geography field trip to the North Wales coast.
It was a glorious day, if a bit windy and cold, however pupils had the opportunity to see coastal features and sea defences in person, as an aid to their GCSE revision.
The pupils implemented the theory of long shore drift into seeing spits and salt marsh formation. Also the various investments and protection along the coastline and why the area needs so much investment.
Pupils completed the morning with a well deserved hot chocolate and chips!
