Performing Arts

At last the event took place and it was a very enjoyable and varied afternoon’s entertainment. All houses had to prepare two choir items  one being a free choice and the opening  item – the Welsh National Anthem. These whole house items were the best performed and  everyone was impressed by all the  efforts in this section. Trevor delivered a superb rendition of  Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau  and the free choice saw Kenyon’s  Reach for the Stars   voted winner by the audience. The rest of the afternoon comprised a group item which ranged from  a Vietnamese  popular song, rock guitar, a vocal group and violin and piano. The drama offering   included a range of items from Monty Python to Peter Pan. This was a splendid occasion with which to end the term
