Only 50 pounds to go!

 

 The fund-raising group have been working extremely hard to meet their target of raising £1500 for Cancer Research UK by the end of this term. They have organised a range of activities including a Pink Day, Ruthin School’s Got Talent (DVDs available from School cost £5), a sponsored walk, a Pyjama Day, a Christmas Dance and a raffle with prizes generously donated by local businesses. Over the weekend they were at Tesco where they packed bags and entertained shoppers with carols. The event featured students from all over the word and they sang in English, Welsh and Spanish. The students and organisers were indebted to Tesco for being so supportive and accommodating and the £178 raised takes them within £50 of their target.
