Hill-fort Run 2009

The weather was ideal as the 80 students and 16 staff/parents/OR runners set off on the demanding 12.1 km run to Foel Fenlli and back on the occasion of the 31st running of the Hill-fort Run in modern times. All staff acted as marshals or ran and 20 students acted as support to the marshals. 15 did the run for charity – Help for Heroes and NE Wales Cancer Charity Trust. Some were in fancy dress. Kenyon won again. The Junior School older pupils ran around a course on the field also raising money for charity. The RSA provided the BBQ. It was as ever a very successful evening.
