S4C Comes to Ruthin School

Ruthin School Host Live Broadcast

Ruthin School proudly hosted a live broadcast of the popular current affairs programme Pawb a'i Farn last night. We were contacted a few weeks ago and asked if we could accommodate the programme. Broadcasting involves a great deal of equipment and six lorries brought a huge array of equipment and thirty crew members to make the broadcast possible.
The audience consisted of 100 invited guests and they enjoyed an excellent buffet provided by the school catering department before the event. Volunteers from the L6 helped make the event run very smoothly and their help was very much appreciated.
Head Boy Matthew Cheung and Head Girl Chi Mai interviewed the presenter of the show Mr. Dewi Lloyd and their findings will be presented soon.
The live broadcast went out at 9.00 p.m. and was a huge success. The production team felt that Ruthin School was an excellent venue for their programme and we look forward to being considered for other ventures.
